How to update clock after Head Unit change
Hi - I have replaced our 2018 CRV Ex I-Dtec Auto Head Unit with a Pioneer AVIC-Z830DAB not least for Android Auto and Apple Car Play. That is all fine. Only snag is that the clock setting menus for the Honda have changed as a consequence, so we can't update for summer time / wintertime (The clock on the Pioneer is OK). Is there any other way of change the clock display?
I had a similar issue when I swapped out the stock head unit in my car for a Pioneer. The clock on the Honda system wouldn’t update properly after the change, even though the Pioneer’s clock was fine. What worked for me was going into the car’s settings and manually adjusting the time there, since it didn’t sync with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. You might want to check if there are any updates for your Honda’s system too, as sometimes that can fix small glitches like this.
