Hi Folks,
Some of us are Honda fans, some are SUV/CUV fans, some just like good cars. Regardless, for your consideration (haha), please be advised that Honda is refreshing its line up. Here's what we know so far>>>
1) New Honda HRV (Launched ~Dec 2021, 3rd Gen) - New shape, new design, new engine, it's a completely different vehicle and is what is termed a 'B-segment CUV'. Basically, it takes the Honda Jazz platform, and uplifts into a cross over format. It's longer and bigger than the Jazz, but essentially they're sister cars.
2) New Honda ZRV (Likely to hit UK in 2023) - This is going to get confusing, so please bear with me. Until now USA had the same HRV (2nd Gen), the UK did. Very shortly, the US will get a new HRV (3rd Gen), which is different to the UK/Rest of the world one. They will call it the HRV, we will call it the ZRV. This ZRV, will be the same size as... our current CRV. I'll also make it more confusing for you and say it'll be a sister car to the Civic and so be a 'C-Segment CUV'. So.. if you're looking at the brand new HRV, think its a bit small.. and think the current CRV is a bit dated.. you might want to wait for the ZRV

3) Honda E:NY1 (Provisional Name) - We already have a forum for this I see here: https://www.eny1forums.co.uk/. This is going to be effectively a battery version of the HRV. This is already being sold in China, so I don't think we would have to wait particularly long for this to arrive here. I don't know what it'll be called, but it could just be sold as an HRV variant, or be given the E:NY1 name. A bit like the Volvos regular/BEV versions, it shares a lot of similarity with the current HRV. I've shared a Chinese version pic of it below. If you want a new car in 2 years time, this might be the one to get. (I have a sneaky feeling the current HRV has some dead space inside it which a BEV version would be able to fill with its battery).
4) Finally we have the New Honda CRV. This will be bigger than the current generation (that gap will be filled by the ZRV). We can expect this to also release quite soon. Probably 2023. It's already been spotted in spy shots. Traditionally, this has been based on the Honda Civic and has been a c-segment platform. I'm not sure what will happen here, but we can certainly expect it to be big.
Feel free to correct me and update here with the latest news and developments!

Hello Sharpmango
Do I assume you are in the U.S.?
The hybrid HR-V has been here since January. I was one of the first to pick mine up on the17th January.
Here is the official Honda U.K notification of new models coming in '23. Including PHEV and EV.
I have written to my dealer and he says he has no further info at present but that I will be the first to know when he gets any updates.
All exciting stuff!

I recently bought a Honda CRV Hybrid and what can I say, the car is a bomb. I've been driving it for about 2 weeks and I still like it. I honestly recommend it.
I took it from afar and luckily I came across an article in which I found out all the necessary details related to shipping (https://www.a1autotransport.com/sundiro-honda/). I was stressed because the first time I decided to buy the car from such a long distance, but it still went well.
