Summer tyres are useless in Snow due to their radial sipes.
I live in Poole and today's snow is the first I have ever seen in November as we tend to have a micro-climate.
Because of this lack of snow, some of the antics I see when we do get any are laughable. People generally don't have a clue, because they rarely get the chance to practise.
Find your nearest skid pan and go and spend half a day learning. It is GREAT fun!

The best way to tackle snow conditions is to stay at home.

To truemate, unfortunately work calls, I live in the Blackcountry fairly high up,just wanted to know any tricks with CVT,better in sport mode as you can use paddle shift.
I will be change tyres to all weather soon.
