hoping that someone might now what the TP notification on my infotainment screen is? Honda support 'speculated' that its a traffic programme but i havent paired my phone and have turned of RDS and traffic alerts on the infotainment screen as well so im out of ideas on this now so open to ideas, thanks ]in advance.
Admin's please feel free to move this to the Jazz and or Civic forums as they both have the same 9 inch infotainment screen as my ZRV
notification help
Its an RDS function, as rightly said, its Traffic Programme, it shows a station that allows for TA (traffic announcements) to interrupt and provides traffic information broadcasts.

'TP' usually refers to TYRE PRESSURE WARNING. Have you consulted the handbook?
Go into settings find 'TPMS' It will show you the 4 tyre pressures.
TTPMS is known for false reading on most makes. If all pressures are as they should be ignore the warning and reset the system as per the handbook.
If you are concerned, check with a real pressure gauge (I suggest NOT a garage forecourt one, as they are often abused and inaccurate.)

thanks Colin, the notification has been visible since the2nd day that i had the car so I'd be surprised if the pressures and calibration hadn't been set when i took delivery of it. I'd also expect that if it was a tyre pressure issue then there would be more information about it shown once you go into the notification / alerts screen but theres nothing there about it which is why I'm out of ideas.Colin Lambert wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2024 12:28 pm 'TP' usually refers to TYRE PRESSURE WARNING. If it is the TPMS then I am not too surprised. Issues of false alarms have been reported on several forums for HR-V, Jazz etc. They often occur after a tyre has been changed but not necessarily straight away (So two days after the pressures had been checked/changed is not surprising). The warning will not go away until the system has been recalibrated. This is easily done, you just need to find the procedure in your handbook.Romster wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2024 5:42 pm I'd be surprised if the pressures and calibration hadn't been set when i took delivery of it. thanks ColinS but ive got to the bottom of it now with the help of a user on another Honda forum. It is RDS traffic related. basically if the radio was on a channel/ station which provided Traffic information the TP notification So ive had to go into radio and tune into a station which doesnt have RDS information, then the notification turns off.ColinS wrote: ↑Wed Jun 12, 2024 8:54 pmIf it is the TPMS then I am not too surprised.
