Hi everyone
I’ve just joined the forum, thank you for accepting me. I hope I am posting this in the right area. We are off to France soon and are confused about if we need beam deflectors or not. I have a 2018 model, 70 plate HR-V. If we do need them how do we know where to place them? Can’t see anything in the handbook.
Thanks
Joanne

Thanks for your help Steve-m. I must have a different handbook as there is nothing in mine. We do have LED lights, but when researching this have seen differing advice, some says we do need deflectors and some say not. The main dealer here told me we do need them! So confusing!
Sorry to come to this late in the day, but I have a related question. I have a Honda HR-V with standard headlamps. I have bought some stickers from Eurolites. The instructions say I should apply their stick-on circle to the 10-11 o'clock position on the driver's side and 1-2 o'clock on the passenger side. This positioning seems to be at odds with the instructions in my handbook explaining how to fit your own home-made adjusters using sticky vinyl. These seem to say the vinyl should be applied to the 10-11 o'clock position on both sides, driver and passenger. Can they both be right?
If your HR-V is the 2022 model, then the instructions are on page 401 of the manual - it shows rectangular patches by the way.Magnus wrote: ↑Wed Aug 03, 2022 5:13 pm Sorry to come to this late in the day, but I have a related question. Do Honda dealers not have these patches available?
Anthony
LED Headlights also do need adjusting with tape as well for driving abroad.
See the page I’ve attached from my manual.
