Perishing Rear Window rubber Honda e:HEV

Anyone else noticed their rear window rubber starting to perish at the bottom of the rear window glass?
Mine is just coming up to 2 years old and I would not expect this to have started to degrade / perish yet.
Picture attached, quality did not come out that well, but hopefully you can see what I mean.
Standard screen wash has been used since I've had the car, in case someone asks.

Also does everyone else have a recess in the rubber in the middle of the rear window where the wiper arm is?
