Just a little note about the ZR-V
Just a little notification about some specification degradation, I took delivery a couple of weeks ago and I am very please with my purchase as I feel it is a very well built car, is easy to drive and the engine is much quieter than on my previous HR-V, the vehicle I have is the Advance model (in Blue) and two things have disappeared from it, the first is the blind spot indication which had LED's in the door mirrors to indicate there was someone there, I was made aware of this before purchase, the second is the cross traffic indicator - this is also missing, I was not made aware of this prior to purchase, finally as yet there is no support for the "Connected Car" where you can use the Honda + App to communicate with the car, nobody in Europe seems to know whether it will evr be available, before I knee this I didi have the TCU turned on, so at least I should be ready if it ever happens. Happy motoring all.
Hopefully it will reappear but from what I can see the powered tailgate has not reappeared on the HRV and the Advance Style no longer gets a premium sound system. Shrinkflation?

Collected my ZRV Elegance in ruse black last week and disappointed that blind spot monitoring is missing. I contacted Sales Manager at my dealer to ask if this important safety feature would be retro-fitted by Honda and he replied:
“I obviously don’t want this Spec Change Honda did for q4 built cars onwards due to Micro Chip Shortages and Problems to take the shine off what is a great car.
Unfortunately I have had a fairly fast response from my Honda Rep that retro fit is not possible for Blind Spot Monitor at this time.”
To be fair to the dealership in Wigan, they gave me free boot tray for the car.
However I subsequently emailed Jean-Marc Streng (President of Honda UK) to ask why Honda unwilling to offer retro fit but no response yet…

hi Motley, I got my ZRV sport trim at the end of April. it has blind spot monitoring and the dealership had activated the TCU. now as for the My honda +app Honda support EU have said that its not compatible with the ZRV so essentially activating the TCU just enables the E-call ( emergency call) facility and Wi-Fi hotspot but free only for 3 months and a sub is required thereafter. the dealer mad absolutely no mention of this to me and it took 2 weeks to find out why i was seeing a notification of a car with a Wi-Fi signal on the infotainment screen. Personally i dont think its something i need so am looking to get the TCU disconnected. my mobile can create a WIFI hotspot, if i want one and in an emergency i can use my phone to get help too
