Hi
I have the CRV HYBRID 2019 AWD model.

I’m having a similar brake problem, it started when the warning lights came on whilst driving home.
Orange warning lights came on in sequence, EP, ES, ACC, BRAKE-HOLD, then the slipping vehicle and finally the hill start symbol.

I moved into the near side and began to brake, the brake pedal went down in stages.

Hi, exact same problem with my 2019 CRV HYBRID AWD. Local garage ran diagnostic and fault registered as code U0418-68 //EBB FAILURE. Needs Honda to resolve. Local Honda dealer who I purchased my car from, want £350 to run a diagnostic check before anything £350 upfront. Recall R|2024|387 doesn’t apply, apparently.
Any advice welcome before I call the bank lol

It's normal practice for dealers to charge a diagnostic fee to dissuade people taking up their time and bays with trivial issues. They should reimburse you the fee once they find the issue. Check with them what their policy is.

Good luck with getting your issue resolved.

Thank you Bad Penny. Honda UK have agreed to cover the costs of the repairs which turned out to be £2300.00. Guy at my local Honda dealer very helpful, I ended up paying £120 for the diagnostic check. They changed the brake fluid as well and cleaned the car.
I could have argued that I wouldn’t have been here if the fault hadn’t occurred.
Back on the road again. Happy as
