Hi everyone

We've just purchased a 2012 (facelifted) Honda CRV petrol auto with circa 100k miles on it, we love the car but trying to figure out if the below is normal with this model or there's something wrong.

Still trying to narrow exact circumstances down but between 20 to 30mph, the car exhibits a small judder intermittently, almost like your driving on cats eyes.

When I searched online I could only find references to American models of which the fix was to update the software on the car and change the ATF fluid, I called Honda UK who said this car does not have any recalls, car also has a full Honda service history so I guess any recall work would have been completed in any case.

Advice would be appreciated 😀

How often has the CVT fluid (must be the Honda fluid, not general AT fluid) been changed? Honda reduced the recommended interval for the fluid change from 4 years to 2 years for the Jazz because of the CVT judder problem. However, the service checklist doesn't show the same change for the CR-V but it reduces the interval to 3 years after the initial 5 years.

There's plenty of discussion at https://clubjazz.org/forum/index.php?topic=94.0 and the problem appears to have been largely fixed by the more frequent CVT fluid changes.
