Hello everyone.
Just a quick introduction : I drive a black Honda CRV Advance ehev , having changed over from a Land Rover Discovery Sport .
The CRV has been trouble free over the last year, although it’s due to go in to have the software controlling the auditory speed limit warning updated next month. To be honest, I hadn’t noticed any fault , but the letter from Honda stated that the auditory speed limit warning doesn’t work after adaptive cruise control is cancelled.
I found that’s true, but only for a couple of minutes…after that, the “bong” warning sounds if the speed limit is exceeded .
Do any of you find this is what happens?
Hello from the frozen north
I've received the same notification and my Honda is going in next Thursday (9th January), not noticed any problem. If you continue to exceed speed limits it "bongs" three times then stops "bonging".
From my reading it's not all CRVs and it's a precautionary recall.
I live in the Glasgow area.
