Cake across this on you tube wonder if will work on hrv??

That's interesting, I came across sometime ago in the clubjazz forum a similar 'hack' but it did not include pressing thr skip button. Tried that hack on the HRV and it didn't work, spoke to the workshop foreman and he tried the same method with no success. He said he would have a word with technical but so far they have not replied or he just shelved it although he is normal quite help full.
Will possible try it later today or tomorrow on my HRV and will report back.

I am waiting on delivery so can't try and was one of things disappointed About as hate wires and plugging in etc ....I just want it there ready to go ..jazz seems to be same infotainment system so definitely be interested to hear if works

Just tried the 'hack' and you can change the andriod auto from USB to USB/wireless. Haven't tried connecting my mobile yet as I want to try and find the original hack to see it's instructions on connections the mobile as the instructions were written.

Brilliant...post update if you could.... I'm not due vat till August but that's given me bit of a lift knowing I can keep phone in pocket and just hit android auto button

Got some bad news, was about to send an email to the workshop foreman when I discover that the HRV can't be change to wireless android auto.

I think the problem may be with Android and not Honda.
From memory only Android 11 upwards has the capability to operate wirelessly although have heard some versions of Android 10 may also work.

What version of android you on?...I have s22 ultra so on newest version... wonder if that would work
