Has anyone had a false activation of the system on an e-HRV?
I've had two, once at dawn and once in daylight. It probably was only part of a second but it certainly wakes you up!

Not totally false but I remember my HR-V being briefly excited at a crossroads where I had right of way but a cyclist was approaching from the left. The car thought we were on a collision course and briefly applied the brakes but the cyclist turned and cycled on the path parallel to the road. I think it was my previous HR-V which would give alerts when vehicles were parked on the outside of bends.

Nothing like that for me,no obvious hazard to avoid.
Honda have warned me that an investigation fee of £120 will be charged!
What good is a five year warranty?

If the problem is very infrequent then the dealer is unlikely to experience it during a test drive. You need some evidence. Fit a dash cam which includes recording audio. Then, if the alarm goes off you can add a voice note and save the video.
